News: We are looking forward to our spring births when we will see the results of using the much awarded black male Canchones Tycoon, who we now co-own, over some of our girls.
 
We are Jenny and Martyn Ellwood-Wade and farm about 80 huacaya alpacas at our property overlooking the Hunua Ranges, close to Clevedon and half an hour from Auckland airport. Our main focus is to breed a line of fine, soft handling and lustrous true (blue) black alpacas. However we do have other colours bred both for their fibre and for use in our black breeding programme. We offer a full support alpaca sales service, Cuesta Care, in our local area. Alpacas are the perfect animals for the lifestyle block owner but we warn you they are addictive!

Cuesta Weave wholesales beautiful woven alpaca products to a number of outlets and offers a commission weaving service specialising in using alpaca yarn.
